In selecting a family provider for your loved ones, we prioritize their safety and well-being. The qualifications outlined below are carefully designed to guarantee the highest standard of care and security for those under the provider’s supervision.
Family provider criteria
Important Provider Information
- Must be 18 years or older and have legal authorization to work in the United States. Providers will be required to provide valid identification forms for employment verification purposes.
- Must live in separate residence from client.
- Must undergo Livescan background check, including criminal records, to ensure community safety and security.
- Must complete CPR certification course to assist in emergency situations until professional help arrives.
* If family providers already posses active CPR certification, they can submit it for verification and will not need to undergo another certification course once approved. This provision acknowledges the value of maintaining up-to-date emergency response skills.
